Friday's Fancies: Luck of the Irish

I'm Irish. I love green. I (love to) drink. Oh yeah, and I live in Southie, the most Irish neighborhood in Boston (or all of New England?), with the biggest St. Patrick's Day celebration in the country. To top it all of, the Sunday parade actually falls ON the holiday this year.

Needless to say, I am excited for the weekend - and being an Irish green-lover, I've got my work cut out for me in deciding what to wear. This is the one day a year I can "get away" with an all-green ensemble, so it's time to choose wisely

I'm thinking my J.Crew green matchsticks and a kelly green and white striped tee are going to be the way to go (with a shamrock necklace, of course) - but I would totally rock that sweatshirt if I had it.

Am I insane to think I can pull off green on green? Probably.
