2012: 67 & 68

Just a quick peek at the last two days before I'm off to NYC for the weekend to see Jason Aldean/Luke Bryan/Miss Lauren Alaina. SO much excitement - and as usual, lots of debauchurous fun to be had. Of course, photos soon.

PS - I am (very) ashamed to admit that I painted my nails Mint Candy Apple AT WORK this morning in preparation for this weekend. Full blown addition is undeniable.

Getting ready for work by candlelight - not one of the best way to kick off a Friday, but at least it smelled pretty.

 

Kelly green trousers (F21, sold out) and nails (Essie Pretty Edgy) for the "real" St. Patrick's Day... 

And then this lovely concotion (Baileys and Nutty Irishman iced coffee) to kick off Southie's St. Patrick's Day (it's only real if there's a parade!)

Newest Essie: Lapis of Luxury. Totally in love with this periwinkle shade - definitely helping to put a little "spring" in my step (I'm hilarious?) alongside this weather...

A little early on the Valentine's Day love, but I couldn't resist the colorblocking (pointer, middle: OPI Ate Berries in the Canaries - ring, pinkie: Essie Lollipop).

Also, most adorable eiffel tower notepad from my boyfriend's mom - it brightens up my drab cubicle infinitely while also reminding me of our trip!

Apparently this weekend has revolved entirely around glitter:

SATURDAY: This pure happiness was acquired (with a magical 40% off coupon). I mean, I love you Martha, but $30 for glitter vials is pretty outrageous. 

SUNDAY: First glitter project: mani of the week, via inspiration from Cupcakes & Cashmere.

I picked up a couple of shades from Essie's spring line earlier this week, including the gorgeous, peachy, A Crewed Interest, and it was begging to be embellished. I added the champagne-y gold Martha glitter in a half-moon shape on top of my ring fingers, and voila: mani of the week! The glitter immediately made me think of fizziness, and now all I see is bellinis when I look at my hands - not going to help with my attempt to cut back on cocktails....

I can't wait to play more with these amazing shades (warning: TONS of DIY, pink, glittery valentines on the horizon...).
