2012: 81, 82, 83 & 84

Another massive photo dump, sorries! Catching myself up to revamp and go totally gung ho - it's tough werkkk.

Monday: New Jennifer Zeuner ring came! Haven't taken it off since. Nails: Essie Absolutely Shore, Essie Fiji & Sephora by OPI Only Gold For Me (accent)

Wednesday: Fell asleep with the new JCrew catalog in my bed - if that doesn't make me an addict, I don't know what does.

Thursday: Was totally inspired by this shot, paired my chambray with my black Paiges, but not nearly as successfully as Ash.

 

More importantly, though, I successfully curled my hair for the first time! Literally one of my top 10 greatest accomplishments of 2012. 

Also, totally in love with my new Kate Space Gumdrop studs.

Friday: Dogsitting the boyfriend's sister's cocker spaniel, Fenway, for the night. Currently: asleep and farting profusely. The dog, not me. Buuuuuuuut, he's pretty adorable nonetheless.

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but I have big things planned for this itty little blog. Overhaul commences this weekend (if I can hold myself to it). See, by putting it out there, I have a real pressure to get off my lazy ass and get what I really want. No more self deprication here. Starting...NOW.

2012: 78, 79 & 80

Tulippy. New favorite word.I have nothing against, say, "floral" - but there is something so much more specific - and better..and happier - about "tulippy."

I've had a lot of tulippy moments lately - granted, these are from a week or so ago when the weather was MUCH more marvelous and oh, you know, not FREZING (clearly, I took full advantage). And this doesn't even include the gorgeous white-tipped pink tulippies I brought home this week to try to force the springyness back into my now frigid life.

Sigh. At least they're good for fashion inspiration.

2012: 73, 74, 75 & 76 - fuschia&cobalt

I have long been a fan of fuchsia, but I have always worn it in moderation and in mostly subtle details of an overwhelmingly neutral palette. 

Now that spring has sprung, and admittedly my tastes have become more adventurous, I have been rocking this combo as much as possible (with aqua accents thrown in too - craziness!). My iPhone had a hard time on our deary and wet Easter Sunday - but I defied the weather with a cobalt striped J.Crew v-neck, bright pink F21 palazzo pants, an F21 aqua pyramid bracelet, and these BaubleBar aqua drop earrings (that I can't seem to stop wearing).

Recap: 2012: 69, 70, 71 & 72

This has obviously been an embarassingly long hiatus - but at least it hasn't been a full month? Things have been extremely busy lately, between traveling and work and getting back into a (somewhat) solid workout routine...no excuse, but I have been trying really hard to prioritize the things that are the most healthy for me. 

Clearly, beer (LOTS of beer) is not one of them, but it's definitely a requirement for country concerts and long-distance friend visits - or really, just social weekends in general. I have notoriously been a hermit in the past and am making a conscious effort to push myself to go against my nature this year - and this past month has proven both successful (in terms of my efforts) and completely rewarding. I've had so much (too much?) fun, and I really wouldn't trade these extra LBs and the giant hole in my back account for anything.
